BC Christian Academy’s Announcement on 2020 Faith & Work ConferenceIn light of the developments and latest measures currently implemented by the BC Public Health authorities with regard to public gatherings, the leadership of BC Christian Academy has come to the decision of POSTPONING our FAITH & WORK Conference UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

We are saddened not to be able to host you in May but as we monitor the Covid-19 situation closely, this decision is made in the best interest of the public safety and general wellbeing of our attendees, speakers, and partners.

Our prayer is that we can reschedule our Faith and Work Conference sometime later.  You will be notified of the new conference date and the latest conference information will be available at https://faithworkconference.ca/.  Registration will be applied automatically to the rescheduled event. However, should participants prefer to receive a refund, please e-mail us at anaenduma@bccaschool.ca and we will help process this for you.

Until then, we want to express our sincerest THANK YOU for supporting us and may God’s sovereign care and protection wrap and enfold you and your loved ones.

Psalm 103:2-4 – “Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion…”

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

Finding one’s purpose is one of the greatest challenges in our world today and many people struggle to connect their faith with the work that they do.  On Saturday, May 2, 2020, BC Christian Academy will be hosting its second annual Faith and Work Conference from 8:30 am – 3 pm at the Executive Plaza Hotel in Coquitlam and will help conference attendees and delegates discover that by knowing who we are in Christ and what He wants to do through us, we can live a life of meaning and live out our faith in work every day.

Join a community of like-minded people who desire to understand the importance of taking hold of God’s calling in your life, of integrating faith and work to transform the world and make a difference for Christ.  We are very honored to have a roster of very prominent speakers including the Honorable Senator Yonah Martin (Canadian Senator), Dr. Richard Goossen (President and Chair of Entrepreneurial Leaders Organization), John Neate (CEO and Founder of JJ Bean Cafe), Esther De Wolde(CEO and Founder of Phantom Screens) and Geoff Dittrich(Founder and Managing Partner of INK LLP) whowill openly share about their own journey and struggles of finding their true purpose and calling in life.

The Faith and Work Conference is the largest Christian Leadership Conference organized by BC Christian Academy with the purpose of providing a setting for the equipping, inspiring, and encouraging of people who aspire to enhance and grow their God-given leadership skills.  Furthermore, this conference will give the attendees and delegates the opportunity to know BC Christian Academy—its mission, programs, plans for expansion and vision for the future.
