Our Vision

We have a vision for growth and development and are excited about the future.  BCCA has purchased 9.6 acres of land on Burke Mountain in the City of Coquitlam and the school’s Strategic Planning Committee is taking steps to provide a permanent campus that will include newly constructed facilities to handle the rapidly growing student population.

BC Christian Academy’s THREE “C”s

Community

Myth:  Private Christian school is exclusive and selective.

Truth:  BCCA has a diverse yet tight-knit community of students and families from different regions and backgrounds.

Needs: Access to resources that promote diversity; increased support for student programs that encourage diversity involvement on campus; Alumni networks

Galatians 6:2 “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”

Compassion

Myth:  Private Christian school is expensive for the average working family.

Fact:  BCCA has an existing tuition support program to assist and enable families which otherwise could not afford a private school education for their children.

Needs:  Donors to help support the school’s financial aid programs and various learning programs and resources.

Matthew 25:40: “Whatever you have done for the least of these brothers of mine you have done for me.”

Christ

Myth:  Christ is not relevant in education.

Truth:  BCCA lays the Christian foundation essential in equipping students as they constantly face a worldview that does not recognize Christ.

Needs:  Mentorship programs for young people; funding to access current Christian resources and programs to support the building of Christ like character among its students.

1 Corinthians 10:31: “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”
